Established in Dublin in 1984 by Michael Slein, the LED Group of today has made a remarkable impact across the industry. Michael has driven with belief, passion and energy the group’s core values – commitment to meeting customer needs and pleasure in business relationships, nurturing productive teamwork.

Privately owned and managed, the other members on our Board of Directors are Brendan Bergin (Financial Director), Derek Slein (Exports Director) and Mark Newton (UK Sales Director).

We currently employ over 300 people at our offices in Ireland, UK, Holland and China. LED Group has ISO9001:2000 Quality Assurance Accreditation and insists upon uncompromising attention to detail and care throughout all processes and practices within the Group.

Ireland: Showrooms, head office and 100,000 sq ft purpose built warehousing and distribution centre stocking 25,000 pallets of over 1,000 leading products, distributed to 40 countries worldwide, from New Zealand to Iceland. The majority of orders are dispatched within 24 hours of receipt and delivered within 48 hours.

UK: Office and sales team of 30 directly employed LED Group personnel. Every member of our team has a manageable area which further impacts on the service levels to our customers.

Benelux (Holland, Belguim & Luxembourg): Sales tean consisting of directly employed LED personnel that takes care of customers and makes sure ROBUS products are available through major national distributors.

China: Our office is centrally located in downtown Guangzhou city, employing 20 people. Our wholly owned factory is situated in Nanhai city, 40KM from Guangzhou city and in the Guangdong province. Here we employ 200 production staff, 7 R&D engineers and a management team of 20. Our China Chief Executive is Mr. Peter Wong, who is a director and
shareholder. Covering 90,000 sq ft our factory manufactures emergency lights, LED products, electronic transformers, ballasts and energy saving fluorescent fittings.
